Tour guide course students from GTH Johor Bahru recently embarked on an immersive agro-tourism training experience, exploring the sensory-rich landscapes of Golden Pine Plantation and My Liberica Coffee Farm.
At Golden Pine Pineapple Plantation, Malaysia’s largest pineapple plantation, students learned about the full agricultural cycle—from planting to export—and how local farms contribute to both tourism and national income.
The journey continued at My Liberica Coffee Farm, where students followed the journey of coffee from seed to cup, gaining insight into sustainable farming, flavor profiles, and storytelling techniques that bring each cup to life.
This training wasn’t just about facts—it was about turning everyday landscapes into meaningful narratives. By connecting taste, place, and emotion, students discovered how to guide with depth, passion, and a true love for Malaysia’s land.
