GLOBAL TOURISM & HOSPITALITY was established in 1994 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia by a group of educational and corporate executives involved in tourism development, hospitality and event management.
We are a training institute registered under The Company Act 1965 Malaysia Private Limited Company and licensed by Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Department, and also accredited by National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) which under Ministry of Human Resources.
The name “Global” had been chosen because it reflects our distinctive mission of becoming the “Global Leader in Quality Tourism & Hospitality Education”.
The institute aspires to be the market leader in delivering quality tourism related education by setting new levels of excellent in services, quality and productivity through the application of leading edge technology.
Course We Offered
Global Tourism & Hospitality offer approved programs for certificate and Diploma levels and is a tuition provider for specified Diploma program, public program, in-house training program and consultancy services related to the field.

Our management and lecturers have at least 20 years or more of experience in the tourism industry. Their selfless dedication in the tourism course training industry has cultivated many talents for the local tourism industry over the years and helped our country to create tourism and hospitality industry employment opportunities.
Mr. Seow Kook Liong
Founder/Principal
Mr. Seow is the founder and director of Global Tourism & Hospitality who has 36 years experience in tourism industry. His vision is to let Global Tourism & Hospitality to become a premier institute that developing world-class Tourism & Hospitality course in Johor Bahru.
Mr. Gan Yeng Un
Founder/Principal
Principal of Global Tourism & Hospitality, boasts 32 years of extensive experience in the tourism industry. As a seasoned tour guide and entrepreneur, he has dedicated his career to nurturing tourism professionals. Mr. Gan founded the National Tour Guide Oratory Competition and expanded the academy’s influence by establishing branches in Muar (2022), Kuala Lumpur, and Ipoh (2024), cementing his commitment to advancing tourism education in Malaysia.
Desmond Liau Sin Long
Senior Lecturer
35 years of experience in vocational training education, specializing in tourism-related programs. As a senior lecturer, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of professionals in the tourism industry. His expertise extends to tour consultation and tourist guides training. With a wealth of knowledge and a passion for education, he continues to make significant contributions to the development of the tourism sector especially in tour guiding profession.
Mr. Ow Khuan Fatt (Ow San) (9-05-1958 ~ 26-03-2023)
Senior Lecturer
Mr. Clifford Ow is one of our college well-experienced lecturer with 42 years in guiding profession and with multiple qualification. He is a MOTAC registered licensed city tour guide, CTRE presenter, and also guide course examiner with Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) and Vocational Instructor Certificate (VTO). He also held Japanese language level 1-4 full certificate.
Ms. Alice Loh Lan Lan
Senior Lecturer
Ms. Alice Loh is another experienced lecturer in our institute who teach in Travel & Tourism Diploma course. She has about 24 years experience in tourism & hospitality industry.
Ms. Yap Voon Voon
Senior Lecturer
Ms Yap Voon Voon is a senior lecturer in our institute who has 20 years of experience in tourism industry. She currently lectures across a range of modules and levels at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in the areas of tourism & hospitality.
Ms. Natalia Ho Hui Mein
Senior Lecturer
With over 10 years of experience in tour guiding and leading, Ms. Natalia Ho has shared her knowledge with students at various university and colleges. Natalia specializes in tour planning and customizing tours, both domestic and overseas, providing practical insights and real-world examples to students. Over the years, she has helped develop the skills of tourism students, who have gone on to have successful careers in the industry.
