GTH Johor Bahru Tour Guide Course students recently stepped beyond the classroom to explore two cultural gems in the heart of the city — Kompleks Warisan Sultan Abu Bakar and Muzium Tokoh Johor.

Reopened in June after major renovations, both attractions bring Johor’s heritage to life through cultural exhibitions, traditional arts, interactive displays and modern technology. From local traditions to influential historical figures, the visit offered students valuable insights into Johor’s identity and stories.

As Johor Bahru grows alongside major developments such as the Johor Bahru–Singapore RTS Link, new tourism opportunities are emerging. For future tourism professionals, this is the time to learn, explore and prepare.
