GTH Johor Bahru tour guide students recently took part in a field practice journey to Simpang Renggam, one of Johor’s most unique cultural and agricultural destinations.
Students visited a pineapple plantation to learn about agro tourism, explored the colorful mural street, discovered local stories in the old town, and gained insights into traditional craftsmanship at a rattan workshop.
This hands on training allowed students to apply classroom knowledge in real tourism settings. Beyond learning facts, they practiced turning local history, culture, and community stories into engaging visitor experiences.
At GTH, real world learning helps shape future guides into confident storytellers and cultural ambassadors.
