GTH Kuala Lumpur tour guide course students embarked on an in depth field practice journey in this historic city, turning Melaka into a living classroom.
From A Famosa, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, and Bukit China, to Dutch Square, St Paul’s Church, and the vibrant streets of Jonker Walk, each stop became a lesson in culture, faith, and heritage. The journey continued to the Melaka Straits Mosque and Encore Melaka Theatre, revealing how tradition and modern storytelling coexist.
To become future guides, students learned to walk the city with purpose, listen to its stories, and understand the meaning behind every landmark. Although Melaka is familiar to many, this experience invited students to begin again from the heart, learning how to present multicultural harmony and historical depth with clarity and emotion.
One day, when they lead visitors through Melaka’s streets, they will offer more than sights. They will deliver understanding, connection, and lasting memories.
