At the southernmost tip of mainland Asia lies Tanjung Piai, a tranquil sanctuary of lush mangroves and gentle waves. Here, nature whispers its secrets through the rustling leaves and rippling waters. GTH students strolled through this serene environment, observing each plant’s unique posture, listening to the symphony of wildlife, and feeling the heartbeat of the land beneath their feet.

Guided by Mr. Gan, the students delved into the ecological treasures of the mangroves, learning about its diverse flora and fauna and mastering techniques to share these stories with future visitors. This trip to Tanjung Piai National Park was not just about honing tour guide skills—it was a profound reminder of the responsibility to inspire love and respect for the land among travelers.

The journey continued at Johor’s modern and historical landmarks. At the Iskandar Administrative Centre, the grand structures symbolized Johor’s progress and vision. The meticulous architecture reflected harmony between heritage and modernity.

At the Bukit Serene Royal Palace, the students absorbed royal history, culture, and the spirit of Johor. These experiences deepened their appreciation for the region and fueled their passion for guiding.

This hands-on training was a step forward in their journey to become ambassadors of Johor’s beauty and charm.
