Students from the first batch of 2026 Tour Guide Course at all four GTH branches successfully completed their 3 day 2 night Overland Practical Training from 14 to 16 July.

The journey took students across Perak, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, covering a diverse range of attractions including cultural landmarks, historical sites, tourism destinations and modern city developments. Each stop provided valuable opportunities to observe, learn and experience the real working environment of Malaysia’s tourism industry.

As an essential part of GTH’s Tour Guide Course, practical training helps students turn classroom knowledge into real world experience. Through continuous observation, communication and on site learning, students develop greater confidence, professional awareness and a deeper understanding of Malaysia’s history, culture and tourism potential.

Every journey adds another chapter to their learning experience. GTH remains committed to tourism education and will continue walking alongside our students as they develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for their future careers in the tourism industry.
