The past three days have been nothing short of an odyssey for the dedicated students of our institute. The 2023 second batch from Johor Bahru (TG20), along with the fourth batch from Muar and the newest recruits from our Kuala Lumpur Training Center, embarked on a comprehensive three-day, two-night cross-state field practice.
More Than a Tour, A Dialogue with History
Their journey was not merely geographical but also a profound personal growth experience. The students’ travels took them through historical Kuala Kangsar, the serene Ipoh, the awe-inspiring Perak Cave Temple (Kek Look Tong ), to the metropolitan pulse of Kuala Lumpur, and the administrative heart of Putrajaya.
As they navigated through these diverse landscapes, the students engaged in intimate dialogues with each site’s stories. Their mission was to learn the art of storytelling, to one day transform these narratives into audible experiences for future tourists, and to channel the soul of Malaysia through their guidance.
From Destinations to Sources of Inspiration
Each site visited was more than a checkpoint; it became a source of inspiration, a crucible for honing the professional acumen of a tour guide. The future guides are set to carry the discoveries, emotions, and invaluable lessons from this internship into their professional lives.
In the future, these students will stand as more than just guides; they will be ambassadors of knowledge and passion, leading tourists to uncover the beauty and mysteries of Malaysia.
